Professor Yemi Osinbajo is the Vice President of Nigeria, in office since 29th May 2015. He is also a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Professor of Law and until his inauguration as Vice President, a Senior Partner with SimmonsCooper Partners, a commercial law practice.

He was appointed Lagos State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in 1999 and reappointed for second term in 2003. During the period of his public service, he commenced the Lagos State Justice reform project. A prominent feature of that project was the establishment of the Directorate for Citizens’ Rights(DCR) which provides free legal services and legal representation to indigent citizens of the state. This initiative gave a voice to many who would otherwise not have a way to access their rights.

Prior to that appointment, Professor Osinbajo was the Head of Public Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Lagos. Between 1988 and 1992, he was the special Adviser to the Attorney-General and Minister of Justice of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Prof. Osinbajo is Co-founder & Board Member Convention of Business Integrity and the Justice Research Institute Ltd, and has authored several law books.

In 2007, Prof, and his wife Oludolapo founded “The Orderly Society Trust”, a non-governmental organization that is dedicated to the promotion of Christian ethics and orderliness.

‘Poju Oyemade is the Senior Pastor of Covenant Christian Centre, Lagos. The church is located at 400 Herbert Macaulay Way – Yaba, Lagos. This fast growing church holds 5 services every Sunday morning, with two taking place at The Covenant Place, one at the Yaba Centre and two Family Service taking place at The Covenant Chapel, Lekki. The Church Midweek services takes place every Wednesday and Thursday at the Yaba Centre and The Covenant Chapel, Lekki respectively. Essentially, Covenant Christian Centre is one church with three centres.

He was called to ministry whilst he was still an undergraduate at the University of Lagos. He was ordained into ministry by Bishop David Oyedepo, the presiding bishop of Living Faith Ministries Worldwide (a.k.a Winner’s Chapel).

Pastor ‘Poju is a teacher of the Word of faith with insight into how believers can apply biblical principles in a pragmatic and practical way in their daily lives. This dynamic pastor hosts regular Faith Seminars, Singles’ Summits, Financial and Business Seminars where believers are taught the undiluted Word and how it can be applied directly in their situations to produce results, God’s way.

The Platform Nigeria – Worker’s Fair and National Development Fair are also outreaches of his ministry where prominent business men and women (that are believers) share how they thrive in their industries using and applying principles founded in the Bible.

Ibukun Awosika is the Chairman, Board of Directors, First Bank of Nigeria Limited, Nigeria’s premier and most valuable banking brand. She is also the founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Chair Centre Group.

He holds a BSc in Economics (First Class), and a PhD in Economics (Specializing in Corporate Finance). He has over 38 years of post-graduate work experience, covering University teaching and research, Private consulting, World Bank research Economist, Investment/Merchant Banking and Financial/Management Consulting.

Notably, he has served on a couple of Presidential Advisory Committees and also as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Financial Sector Development. A 1989 BSc holder in International Relations from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife with a Masters in International Law and Diplomacy (MILD) from the University of Lagos in 1997, Olusegun Adeniyi began his journalism career as a Staff Reporter with ‘The Guardian’ newspaper of Nigeria in December 1990. In April 1992, he left ‘The Guardian’ to join the ‘African Concord’ magazine as a Senior Staff Writer and in September of the same year, he was appointed the magazine’s Abuja Bureau Chief with accreditation to cover the State House.

Adeniyi joined THISDAY newspaper in January 1999 as Deputy Editor of the Saturday newspaper before he later became editor of the Sunday THISDAY; and in August 2005, he was appointed the editor of THISDAY title. On 30th May, 2007, he was appointed by the late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua to be his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, a position he occupied until Yar’Adua died on 5th May, 2010.

Adeniyi has attended and participated in several professional and academic programmes in many countries. Notably, in July 2007, he attended the International Visitor Leadership Programme organised by the US State Department. He also attended the Chinese government-sponsored ‘Seminar on Press and Publications in Developing Countries’ in Beijing in April 2012. He spent the 2010/2011 academic session as a Fellow at the Weatherhead Centre for International Affairs, Harvard University where he conducted his research on the factors that shape incumbent presidential elections in Africa. Ndidi Nwuneli is the managing partner of Sahel Consulting, which works across West Africa, unlocking the agriculture and nutrition potential in the region. She is also the co-founder of AACE Foods, which was established in 2009 to fight malnutrition, reduce post-harvest losses among smallholder farmers and displace imports. She is the founder of LEAP Africa, which inspires, empowers and equips a new cadre of principled, disciplined and dynamic young leaders in Africa. 

Ndidi started her career as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company, working in their Chicago, New York and Johannesburg Offices. She holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and an undergraduate degree with honors from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She was a Senior Fellow at the Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business & Government at the Harvard Kennedy School and an Aspen Institute New Voices Fellow.

Prof Ndubuisi Ekekwe invented and patented a robotic system used in minimal invasive medical robots. The United States Government acquired assignee rights to the technology in 2017. Dr Ekekwe holds two doctoral and four master’s degrees including PhD in electrical and computer engineering from the Johns Hopkins University, USA. He earned B.Eng electrical and electronics engineering from Federal University of Technology Owerri where he graduated as his class best graduating student.

While in Analog Devices Corp, he worked in the team that designed an accelerometer for the iPhone and he created the company’s first wafer level chip scale package for inertial sensors.

A recipient of IGI Global “Book of the Year” Award, a TED Fellow, IBM Global Entrepreneur and World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, Dr Ekekwe has held professorships in Carnegie Mellon University and Babcock University, and served in the United States National Science Foundation ERC E&D Committee.
